TRAVELLING BY CAR

If travelling on the A12 via Chelmsford in a northerly direction, take the A134 exit signposted for Colchester Central. At the roundabout take the second exit and after about a mile at the next roundabout take the third exit onto Westway, signposted to the Town Centre. At the next roundabout take the fourth exit into Sheepen Road and the Colchester Institute.

If travelling south from the Ipswich direction on the A12, take the A1232 exit, go straight over at the next two roundabouts, down Ipswich Road for about another mile and a half to a further roundabout, and take the third exit onto Cowdray Avenue. There are two more roundabouts; at the second roundabout take the first exit onto Westway (signposted Town Centre) and then at the next roundabout take the fourth exit onto Sheepen Road.

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN

The Colchester Institute is about 10-15 minutes walk from Colchester Station which is on the main line from London Liverpool Street to Ipswich and Norwich. Taxis are always available at the station.
